I have been drawing since I was a little girl, and always loved it.
I do not think my drawings look good on the computer, though - so I want to learn new things. I know nothing about computer drawings or photo manipulating , but I am learning - and enjoying every moment I just acquired GIMP, and the book "GIMP for absolute beginners"
It is of course a very busy time now, Christmas ( Love Christmas - supposed to be a busy time !!  ) So most of my learning will have to wait until the new year.
I really hope to eventually  make something I think worthy of DA I am very aware I am no genius  - But I love art.
